Find an Organization

Many of the most memorable college experiences will take place outside the classroom. We encourage you to make the most out of your time here at UIC by getting involved with student activities as soon as you arrive.

Whether you like playing video games, cooking and gospel choir or politics and water polo, you can get involved at UIC! Participate in any of our more than 300 student activities and organizations to enhance your resume, learn valuable leadership and organizational management skills, make new friends, and enjoy a richer college experience.

You can also get involved with Fraternity & Sorority Life on campus by joining a fraternity or sorority.

There is no limit to what you can do at UIC, and if a student activity or organization you’re interested in doesn’t exist, you can create your own!

Involvement Fairs are held during the beginning of each semester. This is a great way to learn about all the different student activities available at UIC and get involved with the groups that interest you.

Registered Student Organizations (RSO): student organizations that are formally registered by the University and are originated out of student interest. RSOs are formed by currently enrolled students sharing a common goal or interest and have properly completed the necessary forms on time and agree to adhere to guidelines established by the University.
