Who are we?
All work no play = Not something we’d recommend. The Center for Student Involvement supports more than 300 clubs and organizations, such as the Student Activities Board, performing arts, religious and spiritual, departmental and research groups, and more—giving you the chance to develop leadership skills, build friendships, and create work-life balance. We also work with students to plan annual events such as Homecoming, Spark, and the UIC Carnival.

UIC Spark 2019 Heading link
Spark in the Park is UIC’s outdoor concert on campus. Spark was created to bring local and well-known talent to campus and offer a diverse range of musical influences. This year’s headliner was 21 Savage with opener Cuco.
UIC Homecoming 2018 Heading link
Students showcased their UIC pride by attending UIC Homecoming events from Nov. 10-16. Throughout the week, students participated in a variety of events, including a dance, basketball game, and more.

We are excited that you have considered UIC to pursue your undergraduate education and look forward to meeting you! The UIC Orientation is an important step in your transition as a new student and is designed to help you make the most of your UIC Experience. We have built a program that ensures you will start your new adventure on the right foot.
During your Orientation session, you will be advised and select courses for your first semester. We will introduce you to many departments and resources that will make your experience here at UIC unique while offering you time to familiarize yourself with our campus.
