Ready to feel nostalgic?
Jump into the world of Studio AASIA: Totoro and Ponyo greet you at the door, ready to take you on adventures filled with minute-to-win-it game shows (where the winners will earn prizes) and raffles galore that YOU can win. And if you get tired of chasing Chihiro, you can sit back, relax, and enjoy a wide variety of performances by your fellow UIC students.
Don't forget to make sure you come with food in your stomach. Unfortunately, we heard that Kaonashi will be making an appearance, and if he sees food, it will be gone in SECONDS. Another disclaimer: don’t let Howl’s sass get in the way of you having a good time. I swear, sometimes he should just take his flying castle elsewhere. But don’t worry, we’ll guarantee that your appetite for unique talent and charisma will be satisfied.

➢What is Imaginasian?
Imaginasian is AASIA’s annual variety show where we celebrate UIC and Chicagoland’s Asian American community. We invite dancers, singers, martial artists, and more to join us on the stage as we commemorate Asian American and Pacific Islander Month!
➢When is Imaginasian?
This year, Imaginasian will be taking place on Wednesday, April 3rd in the Illinois Room at UIC.
➢Why should I participate?
For those of you who have had participated in Imaginasian before, you may know the way Imaginasian runs is like a typical variety show. This year, however, AASIA has decided to mix things up by adding a new element to the show- a game show! Groups will be asked to have one or two members participate in the games in between sets. They will be competing for cash prizes for their organization, which will range from $25 for third place, $50 for second place, and $100 for first place. We will also be holding raffles for anyone to participate in!
