Flames in the City [FITC] is our premiere Chicago program for our UIC students. We get to explore this great city's museums, special events, and attractions. We have learned from and been transformed by the rich diversity of our surrounding communities. We have some wonderful programs this year!

Center for Student Involvement (CSI) presents Flames In the City: West Side Story at the Lyric Opera. "Tony and Maria are two wide-eyed teenagers from opposing gangs who fall in love. As their friends and family battle with one another, Tony and Maria long for “a place for us…somewhere.'"

Tickets are a special price for UIC! Please read carefully.

Performance Time: 7pm

Ticket price: $30 each (not including fees)

Ticket purchase is first come, first serve
No refunds
Eventbrite is only used for online payments
2 tickets limit per UIC student (you may bring a non-UIC guest)
Transportation is provided
Departing Student Center East Lobby: 6pm
At check-in, UIC Event Pass required (Login UIC Connection > Go to Profile > Save your Event Pass): 5:30pm
