New Museum Partnership
UIC is a university partner of the Art Institute of Chicago. Partnership details are as follows:
- All UIC undergraduate, graduate, and professional students will receive free admission to the Art Institute by showing your student i-card at the ticket counter.
- Information about the Art Institute’s location, hours, and programs is here.
- Faculty interested in bringing classes to the Art Institute may contact universitypartners@artic.edu. A limited number of first come first serve free admission passes for faculty and staff bringing classes to the museum are available. For class visits, faculty may optionally also hire an adjunct guide by contacting universitypartners@artic.edu.
- UIC students, staff and faculty interested in purchasing AIC memberships will receive 10% discount on first time memberships (up to Member Plus level / excluding student and e-member levels)
- The Art Institute holds two annual University Partner Fests open to all university partners, more information is here.
- UIC’s partnership with the Art Institute is partially made possible thanks to a gift from Robin Block in memory of Joshua Block.
